About this product

Skinny & Knitted Ties

Knitted ties are a different object entirely: a tube of knitted silk or wool with a square end and no interlining, so the knot is small and dense and the tie has almost no drape. They suit a modern uniform far better than a formal blade.

Skinny ties are conventional construction at a narrower width, and they still need the bias cut — in fact more so, because a narrow blade shows a twist much more obviously than a wide one.

Width should be chosen for the people wearing it, not set once for the whole company. A blade that suits a slim front-of-house shirt looks wrong on a larger frame, and offering two widths costs nothing and fixes it.

FAQ

Skinny & Knitted Ties: quick answers

What is the minimum order for skinny and knitted ties?
Minimum order is just 12 — with bulk pricing tiers as quantities grow.
How fast will my order arrive?
Your free mockup lands within 24 hours and the finished order ships in about 2 weeks — express turnaround is available for tight dates.
What is different about a knitted tie?
There is no interlining and no woven cloth — it is a knitted tube with a square end. The knot is small and dense and there is almost no drape, which is why it reads as modern rather than formal.
Should we order one width for everybody?
We would offer two. A narrow blade that suits one build looks wrong on another, and the second width adds nothing to the cost of the order.
